There are a number of farmers markets that take place in Hampshire with Winchester Farmers Market being one of the best. The Winchester market takes place on the High Street from 9am to 2pm on the last Sunday of the month. Winchester is the biggest of the Hampshire Farmers Markets and is an award winning event.

Yorkshire Farmers Market Otley

Otley in West Yorkshire is a lovely market town that sits close to Ilkley Moor and the Yorkshire Dales beyond. On the last Sunday of the month the centrally located market square in Otley is taken over by the Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm. Otley has coach parking facilities that are relatively new but were required due to the town’s popularity with tourists. Drop off points are outside Argos in the town centre and Boroughgate.  Regular bus services run from Leeds, Ilkley, Skipton and Bradford, while a convenient shuttle service runs to the train station in Otley offering train connections to both Bradford and Leeds. Hexham Farmers Market

Hexham Farmers Market is located in the centre of Hexham Northumberland and is a market that is recognised by FARMA. All the produce sold at the market comes from within a fifty mile radius, while the market trades every second and fourth Saturday of the month. November markets take place on the 14th and 28th between 9am and 1.30pm, while their special Christmas market takes place on December 12th 2015.

The Goods Shed Canterbury Farmers Market

The Goods Shed Restaurant and Food Hall also hosts a daily farmers market selling a vast array of amazing produce that is second to none! Established in 2002, on Station Road West in Canterbury the restaurant uses produce sold at the Good Shed Farmers Market in all its restaurant dishes. This permanent market is one of the only farmers markets that open six days a week. Market days are Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm and 10am to 4pm Sundays. The market is closed on Mondays.

Cheltenham Farmers Market

Cheltenham Farmers Market takes place on the second and last Friday of the month from 9am to 2pm on the towns promenade and is well worth visiting if you are in the Cotswolds area. Notting Hill Farmers Market

Established since 1999 Notting Hill Farmers Market is located just behind Notting Hill Tube Station. You would think hidden away like this that the traders don’t want any customers but once visitors discover the market they return again and again such is the quality of the produce sold here. The market takes place every Saturday from 9am to 1pm in the car park behind Waterstones book shop. The market comes under the London Markets banner who operate so local farmers can sell their produce at prices that are fair and reasonable.
